Finally Got My Hands On Muramasa's Genroku Legends DLC

At last, managed to get all of the DLC characters since I can't get enough of the main storyline. Having more playable characters was like adding more icing on a awesome cake and I can't help but to wonder what else I can exploit and experience with these new chapters.

First things that I noticed were each story and character from Genroku Legends (Fishy Tales of the Nekomata, A Cause to Daikon For, A Spirited Seven Nights' Haunting, Hell's Where the Heart Is) were design uniquely, especially each of the character's play styles.

My personal favorite was the fierce nekomata Okoi and her lovely cat Miike. Fighting style was more of a unarmed martial arts (although she uses claws) and Cat tricks from Miike that will give lightning fast gameplay.

Everytime I'm seeing Gonbe and his wife, along with his farmer friends hacking off samurais and ninjas out of their way, I can't help but to laugh myself out. Believe it or not,  careful strategic approach is a must in this mode. By the way their main weapons are sickles, sharpened hoes, huge logs and sharpened bamboo spears. Not kidding here.

Ninjutsu and summoning is the style of Arashimaru, what a  true ninja that we have here. 

Heavily relies to his kunais, kusagirama (throwing sickles) and bombs. Interesting fighting style if you will ask me but hard to master at first.

Last but not the least is our cute oni from hell Rajyaki. You may be thinking that she can only do so much with that size but think again.

Rajyaki has three forms with three different play styles. Has the devil trigger concept like in devil may cry games, so that being said, she can turn into a mighty demon that can rip enemies in an instant. (that head blow looks like it really hurts. poor bear)

All of the characters has the train feature allowing them to gain more stats and  new skills that adds more depth in their existing gameplay.

Thus I can say this is really the best part aside from the story. Same thing to Kisuke and Momohime, each node requires spirits and souls.

Wouldn't it be nice to have more trophies as you enjoy these new chapters? Well tadaaaa, players can enjoy more trophies and more trials to overcome. Each chapter has its own sets of trophies so, don't forget to get them all.

That will be all for my first impression for the Genroku Legends and I can really say that getting these expansions is a best move so far. I will be covering a full review for the whole genroku legends and of course more gameplay videos. Its time to enjoy this badass expansions.
